Humming that tune again, which captivate,

That poem, which was forgotten, somewhat.

Jailed at the frame, trapped, just like that,

Unable to get out of the picture, my mate.

An orphaned kitten and a puppy,

Roaming on the street will be witnessing,

That I have patted your heart lovingly,

Rising up and just kept on walking.

Another troubling thought on a stroll,

About my family tree, upside down, at the fall,

Cleaning my conscience again and again,

All that was drifted and washed by the hurricane.

Looking for an opening, a hope,

Dreaming of a new, powerful dawn,

That we build with love non-stop,

Not just a threatening disaster, we can cope.

Every time that although,

I am closing the door like that,

Behind me, there is a window,

Opening to the light blue sky, somewhat.

Since you have kept your living routine,

You are barely, no longer noticing,

Not looking back, almost forgetting,

That pome, of that tune, we were humming

That makes everyday laughing children, aged,

Flying in the rainbow of mood swings,

Suddenly, the whole world was changed,

Even those ropes of childhood things.

Humming that tune again, which captivate,

שׁוּב מְזַמְזֵם אֶת הַמַּנְגִּינָה,

שֶׁל שִׁיר קָלִיט, שִׁיר נִשְׁכַּח.

כָּלוּא בְּמִסְגֶּרֶת, לְצִידָה סְתָם כָּךְ,

לֹא מַצְלִיחַ לָצֵאת, מֵהַתְּמוּנָה.

יְתוֹמוֹת חֲתוּלָה וְגוּרַת כַּלְבָּהּ,

תִּהְיֶינָה מְשׁוֹטְטוֹת בָּרְחוֹב עֵדוֹת,

שֶׁנָּגַעְתִּי בָּהֶן, לִיטַּפְתִּי אֶת לִבָּהּ,

וּלְבַסּוֹף קַמְתִּי, הִמְשַׁכְתִּי לָלֶכֶת.

עוֹד מַחֲשָׁבָה, אֲשֶׁר רַק, מִסְתַּבֶּכֶת,

עַל אִילַן יוּחֲסִין, שֶׁהַשַּׁלֶּכֶת הוֹפֶכֶת,

מְנַקֶּה שׁוּב וָשׁוּב, אֶת הַמַּצְפּוּן מִכָּאן,

אֶת אֲשֶׁר, נִיסְחַף, נִישְׁטַף, בַּהוּרִיקָן.

בְּכָל פַּעַם שֶׁאֲנִי כָּךְ,

סוֹגֵר אֶת הַדֶּלֶת,

מֵאֲחוֹרַי נִפְתַּח,

חַלּוֹן אֶל הַתְּכֵלֶת.

מְחַפֵּשׂ פֶּתַח שֶׁל תִּקְוָוה,

חוֹלֵם מֵחָדָשׁ עַל שַׁחַר חָסוֹן,

אֲשֶׁר נִבְנָה בְּיַחַד בְּאַהֲבָה,

וְלֹא רַק מְאַיֵּים בְּאָסוֹן.

מֵאָז אֶת שִׁיגְרַת חַיַּיִךְ הִמְשַׁכְתְּ,

אַתְּ כִּמְעַט, כְּבָר לֹא מַבְחִינָה,

לֹא מִסְתַּכֶּלֶת, לְאָחוֹר, שָׁכַחְתְּ,

אֶת הַשִּׁיר, שֶׁל אוֹתָהּ הַמַּנְגִּינָה.

אֲשֶׁר מְשַׂמַּחַת, בְּכוֹל יוֹם בְּגִינָּה,

יְלָדִים טַסִּים, בְּקֶשֶׁת נַדְנֵדוֹת,

לְפֶתַע, הָעוֹלָם כּוּלּוֹ הִשְׁתַּנָּה,

אֲפִילּוּ אוֹתָם, חַבְלֵי הַיַּלְדוּת.

שׁוּב מְזַמְזֵם אֶת הַמַּנְגִּינָה,

שֶׁל שִׁיר קָלִיט, שִׁיר נִשְׁכַּח.

כָּלוּא בְּמִסְגֶּרֶת, לְצִידָה סְתָם כָּךְ,

לֹא מַצְלִיחַ לָצֵאת, מֵהַתְּמוּנָה.
